Large groups need more lead time, especially in the peak season (roughly October to April). Use this countdown as your yacht party planning Dubai checklist.
Eight to six weeks before
- Fix the date and time slot. Sunset is the most popular time for photos, as the sun goes down behind Palm Jumeirah; evening shows the lit skyline of Dubai Marina and Ain Dubai.
- Estimate the headcount, then choose a yacht with some spare capacity.
- Request a quote listing the hours, the yacht and every extra you are considering.

- Book the extras: DJ, catering, decorations or a live BBQ chef.

The final week

For drinks, check the policy for your specific charter with our team. Only adults aged 21 and over may drink, and the captain can refuse service for safety reasons.
Decorations are also available on request and quoted by the team: balloons, flowers, banners or a colour theme. Share your theme early so the décor is ready before guests board.
Guest Logistics: Boarding, Safety and Timing
Boarding 80 people is not the same as boarding eight. A few habits make it smooth:
- Appoint two or three hosts to greet guests at the dock and guide them to the yacht.
- Give clear directions. Guests can take a taxi or a ride-hailing app (Careem, Uber) to "Dubai Harbour Yacht Club". The nearest Red Line metro stations are in the Dubai Marina / Al Sufouh area, followed by a short taxi ride. Parking availability and fees vary.
- Plan for latecomers. There is no refund for late arrival that causes a missed departure, so set the boarding time 30 minutes before sailing.
On board, the captain has final authority on safety. Life jackets are mandatory during water sports, illegal substances and dangerous items are prohibited, and guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If the weather turns, extreme conditions or a Dubai Coast Guard instruction lead to the trip being postponed or rescheduled; a mechanical failure means a full refund or a new date.
